The Brief

A complete same-colour refresh

The owner asked for the whole villa to be refreshed inside and out in its existing colours. Walls, ceilings and trim showed ordinary wear, so preparation — filling, sanding, crack repair and primer — was carried out where required before painting.

As a painting company in Dubai, we priced the interior and exterior as two parts of one agreed scope, with North Property Care supplying the paint, materials and labour.

Cost Breakdown

Interior and exterior scope

Interior · AED 8,500 plus VAT

Interior walls in Jotun Fenomastic and ceilings in Jotun Durosan Action, in the same colours, with skirting and architraves spray-painted. Preparation was carried out where required.

Exterior · AED 11,500 plus VAT

Exterior walls refreshed in the existing colour with Jotun Jotashield, with scaffold access to the front and rear elevations and preparation where required.

Spray-Painted Trim

Spray painting skirting and architraves

Interior skirting and architraves were spray-painted for a smooth finish. Spraying indoors needed careful masking and full protection of floors, walls and fittings before any paint was applied.

On this project, the interior scope would have been approximately AED 2,000 less without spray-painted skirting and architraves. That figure reflects this villa only; it is not a fixed surcharge for other properties.

Your Villa

What affects a comparable villa quote

  • Built-up area and number of rooms
  • Ceiling scope, including detailed or coffered ceilings
  • Brush-painted versus spray-painted skirting and architraves
  • Preparation needed for cracks, marks or worn surfaces
  • Scaffold access for exterior elevations
  • Paint system selected
  • Same-colour refresh versus a colour change

Each villa is quoted on its own scope, so a similar property will not automatically cost the same.
